Roles & responsibilities

We are recruiting for the Manager position in the UK Corporate Tax team with subject matter expertise in UK Corporate Tax Compliance and Tax Accounting.

Working as Manager in this team, your responsibilities will include:

• Provide tax compliance and tax accounting services to a wide range of corporate clients from FTSE 100 companies to owner managed businesses.
• Perform the role of second reviewer on simple and medium complexity computations and the role of first reviewer on complex computations.
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team based between India and the UK.
• Manage a portfolio of clients of varying size and scope and own engagements as the main point of contact for the client and other KPMG teams.
• Operational and performance management for a team of tax professionals.
• Provide support to the Tax Management and Leadership both in India and the UK with the implementation of various business strategies.
• Identify opportunities for providing additional services to clients within your portfolio.
• Coach junior team members on both tax technical aspects and engagement delivery.
• Provide a ‘best in class level of taxation services to your client base.
• Make use of available technologies and MI reports to manage your team and engagements as effectively and efficiently as possible.

Educational qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable institution
• Possession of a relevant UK qualification (CA, ACCA, ACA, ATT, or CTA) would be highly desirable. (Please note that the business may require a successful applicant to start to pursue a UK tax qualification upon joining, if not already obtained).

Work experience

• Must have a minimum of 7 years of work experience in UK corporate taxation.
