Mainframe Engineer - Professional

Essential Skills Total IT Experience – 7 to 12 years 7+ years of experience in developing and implementing applications using ISPF/TSO, Cobol, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM 5+ years of experience in VSAM, DB2 and SQL, writing stored procedures, performance tuning 4+ years of experience in developing , implementing and maintaining applications using IMS DB/ IMS DC, PL/I, FOCUS/Web FOCUS. 4+ years of experience in using tools like IBM Debugger, IBM File Manager, Xpeditor, File-Aid, CA-7, Serena/Change man, Utilities (SYNCSORT, IEBGENER, IEBPTCH, etc.) Good Analytical skills, technical problem solving, verbal and oral communication is mandatory. Strong experience in code review, performance tuning & application security Ability to interact with different functional areas with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience working in Agile Development Methodologies such as SCRUM Essential Qualification Bachelors or Master’s in computer science is preferred is preferred.
