Job Description
The Role We're looking for an experienced Lead Quality Analyst to lead quality engineering initiatives across our Product & Engineering teams. You will be responsible for defining and driving the overall QA strategy, ensuring end-to-end quality across web, mobile, APIs, and backend systems. You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering Leads, Developers, and other stakeholders to identify quality risks early, establish robust testing practices, improve automation coverage, and ensure reliable releases. This is a hands-on leadership role. We're looking for someone who can think strategically mentor QA engineers, contribute technically, challenge requirements, and drive a strong quality culture across engineering.
What You'll Do
Own and drive the QA strategy and quality roadmap for one or more product areas, ensuring quality across the complete SDLC. Lead quality activities from
requirements
analysis, test planning, estimation, risk assessment, execution, automation, and release sign-off. Design and maintain comprehensive functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, system, and end-to-end test suites across web and mobile applications (iOS/Android). Define and drive an automation strategy using tools such as Playwright, with a focus on scalable, maintainable, and reliable automation frameworks [ Good to have ] Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate test case generation, automation development, defect analysis, test documentation, and overall QA productivity. Perform and guide API testing using Postman or similar tools, validating schemas, authentication/authorization flows, status codes, error handling, integrations, and data contracts. Ensure end-to-end data validation across UI, APIs, services, and databases using SQL and appropriate database validation techniques. Drive quality for a critical, data-sensitive healthcare domain, ensuring data integrity, privacy, access control, permissions, and secure handling of sensitive health information. Identify quality risks early and work with Product and Engineering teams to define appropriate risk mitigation and test strategies. Establish and track quality metrics and KPIs, including automation coverage, defect leakage, regression effectiveness, test execution trends, release quality, and production issues. Lead defect triage and root-cause analysis, ensuring critical issues are appropriately prioritized and driven to closure. Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineering Leads, Developers, and stakeholders (Operations, Customer Success teams etc.) during planning, refinement, standups, reviews, and release discussions. Provide quality sign-off and release recommendations based on risk, test coverage, defect status, and business impact. Continuously improve QA processes, test coverage, automation reliability, and time-to-release without compromising product quality. Mentor and guide QA engineers, conduct knowledge-sharing sessions, and establish best practices, coding standards, test design principles, and review processes. Review automation code and test cases to ensure maintainability, scalability, and appropriate coverage. Promote a shift-left quality mindset, encouraging QA involvement early in

and design discussions.
Requirements
What We're Looking For 7+ years of hands-on
experience
in Quality Assurance / Software Testing, with
experience
taking ownership of quality for complex products or product areas. Proven
experience
in a Lead QA / Lead Quality Analyst / Senior QA Engineer role with ownership of QA strategy and execution. Strong hands-on
experience
with web and mobile application testing, including iOS and Android. Strong understanding of API testing, REST APIs, authentication, authorization, integrations, and data validation. Good working knowledge of SQL and database validation for end-to-end testing. Strong understanding of QA fundamentals including test strategy, test planning, test case design, defect lifecycle, risk-based testing, Agile/Scrum, SDLC, and STLC.
Experience
in building or improving automation frameworks and regression suites.
Experience
integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and working with tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify edge cases, hidden risks, and potential production failures. Ability to challenge
