Job Description

You will lead quality assurance activities across web applications and APIs. You will conduct manual testing, build automated testing frameworks, create test scripts with tools such as Selenium or Cypress, perform API and MongoDB testing, collaborate with stakeholders, track bugs in Jira, and stay current with testing practices.

Responsibilities

Conduct manual testing of web applications and APIs
Build and maintain automated testing frameworks
Develop automated test scripts using Selenium Cypress or similar frameworks
Perform API testing with Postman SoapUI or similar tools
Perform database testing with MongoDB
Collaborate with developers product managers and stakeholders
Track and report bugs using tools such as Jira
Stay updated on testing methodologies tools and technologies

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
Hands-on experience with manual testing
Experience with Selenium Cypress or similar automation frameworks
Understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile testing
Scripting skills in JavaScript TypeScript or Python
Strong understanding of REST Assured and REST APIs
API testing experience with Postman SoapUI or similar tools
Database testing experience preferably with MongoDB
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with performance or security testing is a bonus
Experience with AWS GCP or Azure is a bonus
Experience with TestRail or Zephyr is a bonus
Experience with fintech products is a bonus
