Responsibilities

● Define the sub-system

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the product
requirements
● Perform design calculations and simulations to predictively estimate the design CTQs and analyze the tolerances ● Define engineering verification test plans ● Closely collaborate with Software/NPD/Validation teams ● Strong understanding of the PCB design process and collaborate with the PCB designers to get the PCB design fir ● Demonstrate strong understanding of FMEA process and drive FMEA culture throughout the product life cycle ● Collaborate with NPD teams to review the Hardware designs for DFM, DFA, and DFT ● Collaborate with Mechanical team to define the Hardware footprints & seamless integration of ECAD-MCAD ● Create the Sub-system platforms and variant management, and demonstrate faster TTM by maximizing the usage of the sub-system platforms across the product lines ● Demonstrate agility to align to the business needs ● Plan & review the tasks for the hardware team to align to the program timeline goals ● Demonstrate Design/Analyze using the fundamental concepts with structured RCA process ● Perform the worst-case analysis for the electronics designs

● 5+ years of
experience
in Embedded Hardware design ● B.Tech/M.Tech degree in Electrical (or) Electronics (or) Communications (or) Instrumentation specializations ● RF Interface design for GPS, RTK-GPS, Wi-Fi, BLE, 4G/5G ● High-Speed Design based on Nvidia/Qualcomm GPU ● Embedded Hardware Designs based on the ST or equivalent microcontrollers ● Knowledge of serial communication protocols, SCI, SPI, I2C, CAN etc. ● Knowledge of high-speed serial communication interfaces, USB, Ethernet, MIPI, LVDS etc. ● Application development using Off-The-Shelf IoT/GSM/GPS modules ● Understand Antenna Theory and Selection, and RF tuning ● C/C++/Python/Assembly Language (ARM/x86) Programming, API Development ● Quality Management Systems ● Electrical Safety standards ● EMI/EMC Test Standards ● Reliability Evaluation of Electronic Sub-systems ● Thermal Evaluation of Electronic Sub-systems ● Environmental Test Standards Applicability and evaluate the electronic subsystems against the standards ● Knowledge of the electronic test equipment like DSOs, Spectrum analyzer, Logic analyzer, VNA, Datalogger, PSUs, Electronic loads, DMM, Power Analyzer ● Knowledge of simulation tools like Mathcad/Matlab/SPICE/Hyperlynx/Crystal Ball/Minitab etc. Work Location – HQ, Indiranagar, Bangalore
