We’re looking for a
to lead our fast-growing
in Mumbai, India, producing compelling, high-quality design for a global business working at the forefront of consumer and sensory research.
As
, you’ll take day-to-day responsibility for the creative output and development of a four-person design team. Reporting into the Head of Motion and Design, you’ll combine hands-on design expertise with people leadership, workflow management and quality control. You’ll collaborate with researchers, marketers and senior stakeholders to turn strategic ideas into compelling, on-brand creative work, while helping the studio build its AI capability.
🌱 — Lead and develop a team of five designers through regular coaching, feedback and clear, motivating objectives.
📅 — Plan resource, prioritise briefs and manage workloads to ensure projects are delivered accurately and on time.
🤖 — Bring strong Adobe Suite skills and hands‑on experience in creative development within the AI space.
⭐ — Set and uphold a consistently high creative standard across presentations, campaigns, events, digital content and brand communications.
✏️ — Stay hands‑on across priority projects, from interpreting briefs and developing concepts through to final delivery.
🎯 — Review work, provide clear direction and ensure brand consistency, attention to detail and technical accuracy.
🔧 — Partner with the Head of Design and global stakeholders to enhance studio processes, tools and ways of working.
🚀 — Build practical AI use across the team through experimentation, shared learning and opportunities to improve quality and efficiency.
🤝 — Create a positive, accountable and collaborative team culture that supports individual growth and high performance.
🎨 — 5+ years’ studio, agency or in‑house design experience, with proven ability to lead or mentor designers and manage performance.
🖼️ — A standout portfolio showing creative judgement, originality, versatility, strong layout skills and typographic craft.
🚀 — Confidence owning complex design projects end‑to‑end, balancing hands‑on design with leadership and multiple priorities.
💻 — Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and a strong, current understanding of generative AI in creative workflows.
🤝 — Strong communication skills with the confidence to present ideas, challenge constructively and give clear, actionable feedback.
