Role Description

This role is responsible for Design and Implementation of the high-quality technology solutions within Accounting domain. The candidate should have demonstrated technical expertise having excellent problem-solving skills.

Your key responsibilities

The candidate is expected to;

• Be a hands-on engineering lead involved in analysis, design, design/code reviews, coding and release activities
• champion engineering best practices and guide/mentor team to achieve high performance.
• acquire functional knowledge of the business capability being digitized/re-engineered.
• Drive AI adoption for SDLC as well as solving business problems

Your skills and experience

Core Engineering

• Minimum 14 years of IT industry experience with strong hands-on expertise in

Java and full-stack development

• Deep knowledge of

Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices architecture

, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., ReactJS)

• Strong experience in

databases

(Oracle, PostgreSQL, NoSQL) and solid understanding of

data modeling, performance optimization

• Hands-on experience with

cloud platforms

(GCP preferred, AWS/Azure) and containerization (Kubernetes, OpenShift)

• Strong understanding of

distributed systems, system design, and scalable architecture patterns

• Experience in

DevOps and CI/CD practices

(Jenkins, GitHub Actions), with focus on automation and reliabilit

• Strong focus on

engineering quality

(TDD, BDD, automation testing, performance testing)

• Hands-on or working knowledge of

LLM-based applications

and experience of building Agentic AI workflows using Spec Driven development with tools like

OpenSpec

etc

Leadership

• Strong problem-solving skills with a

hands-on leadership approach

• Experience working closely with

Business stakeholders, Product Owners, Architects

• Growth mindset with focus on

continuous learning, upskilling, and team development

Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
