We are looking for an experienced L3 Application Support and Technical Solutioning professional with strong expertise in production support, technical troubleshooting, solution design, change management, and stakeholder engagement within a regulated environment.
The role requires a combination of advanced application support, basic AIX administration, business requirement analysis, technical solutioning, estimation, and end-to-end change ownership. The candidate will act as a key technical interface between business stakeholders and technology teams while ensuring application stability, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities

Provide L3 application and technical support for complex and business-critical production issues

Perform advanced troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, impact assessment, and identification of permanent corrective solutions

Own critical, high-priority, and recurring production incidents through resolution and stabilization
-
Analyze application logs, interfaces, system behavior, dependencies, and technical configurations to identify underlying issues
-
Drive preventive and corrective actions to improve application stability, reliability, and availability
-
Coordinate with relevant technology teams and vendors to resolve issues within defined service levels

Perform basic AIX server administration, initial-level troubleshooting, system and service health checks, log analysis, connectivity checks, and application-related diagnostics

Execute preliminary corrective actions and technical validation before escalating complex infrastructure issues, and coordinate with AIX vendor support for advanced resolution

Maintain appropriate documentation of recurring infrastructure and application issues

Engage with business users and stakeholders to understand business processes, pain points, functional requirements, and expected outcomes, translating them into clear, actionable, and technically feasible requirements

Act as a key technical interface between business users, product teams, development, QA, and infrastructure functions, facilitating effective communication throughout the solution lifecycle

Analyze business requirements against the existing technology landscape and recommend best-fit solutions based on functional fit, technical feasibility, scalability, integration, maintainability, cost effectiveness, and business value

Design technical solutions for new requirements and enhancements while identifying opportunities for application modernization, automation, and process optimization
Requirements

5+ years of experience in application support, technical solutioning, or a related role within a regulated environment

Expertise in L3 application support, advanced troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for business-critical production issues

Proficiency in analyzing application logs, interfaces, system behavior, and technical configurations

Background in basic AIX server administration, system health checks, and infrastructure-level diagnostics

Skills in incident management, ownership of high-priority production issues, and driving corrective and preventive actions

Competency in business requirement analysis, translating business needs into technically feasible solutions, and stakeholder engagement

Understanding of solution design principles including scalability, integration, maintainability, and performance

Capability to assess technology landscapes and recommend best-fit solutions based on functional fit, cost effectiveness, and business value

Familiarity with change management, estimation, and end-to-end ownership of technical deliverables

Knowledge of application modernization, automation, and process optimization opportunities
