Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a
Java Full Stack (Java FS) professional
with
5+ years of experience
in Java software development. The role will develop, maintain, and enhance Java-based applications and systems while contributing to full-stack web application delivery.The position will support business objectives by delivering clean, maintainable, scalable, and reliable software; collaborating with cross-functional teams; resolving technical issues; and applying current Java, web development, database, and Agile engineering practices.
Software Requirements
Required
- Strong knowledge of Java and the Java EE platform.
- Experience using Java 8 or later and current supported Java versions, based on project requirements.
- Experience with web development frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or JSF.
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
- Experience with Git or equivalent version control systems.
- Understanding of RESTful web services and API integration.
- Experience with software development lifecycle practices, including design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and support.

Day-to-Day Activities
- Develop, enhance, test, and maintain Java applications, RESTful services, frontend components, and related system integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams through Agile meetings, requirement discussions, technical design sessions, code reviews, and delivery planning.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues, contribute to project deliverables, document changes, and support application releases and maintenance.
- Make implementation decisions within established technical standards, escalate risks when required, and recommend improvements to code quality, performance, security, and maintainability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
- Minimum
5+ years of experience
in Java software development, including relevant experience with Java web technologies.
- Certifications in Java, cloud computing, Agile, software architecture, or related technologies are preferred but are not mandatory unless required for a project.
- Complete Synechron-required training related to information security, data protection, software development standards, and responsible technology use.
- Maintain continuous professional development in Java, Java EE, full-stack development, cloud technologies, databases, security, testing, and Agile delivery.
