What Will You Do?

In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:

• Lead, coach, and develop Analytics Developers and Analytics Engineers supporting central enterprise and business-aligned spoke teams; foster collaboration, accountability, continuous learning, inclusion, and delivery excellence.
• Own people-management responsibilities, including goal setting, performance management, development planning, career coaching, talent reviews, succession planning, employee engagement, recruiting, selection,, and retention.
• Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality analytics products and data assets by setting clear expectations, monitoring progress and capacity, identifying risks, removing barriers, and reinforcing accountability.
• Provide technical oversight and coaching for dashboards, reports, semantic models, transformations, and supporting data assets; constructively challenge methodologies to improve quality, maintainability, scalability, performance, and user experience.

What Do You Need?

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in analytics, business intelligence, analytics engineering, data engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of formal people-management experience, including performance management, recruiting, career development and handling complex employee situations.
• Demonstrated experience developing analytics solutions and the technical credibility to review, question, and improve the work of others.
• Proven ability to deliver results through teams, manage competing priorities, and improve execution in a complex environment.
• Strong understanding of business intelligence, data visualization, semantic modeling, data transformation, and modern analytics development practices.
