ITAM Manager
Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Management (ITAM) Manager to lead global IT operations across Software Asset Management (SAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), governance, compliance, asset data quality, and lifecycle management.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in ServiceNow ITAM, SAM Pro, HAM Pro, CMDB, Discovery, integrations, reconciliation, and reporting, along with strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
What You'll Do
ITAM & ServiceNow
- Lead global ITAM operations across SAM and HAM.
- Own and optimize ServiceNow ITAM Ecosystem including SAM Pro, HAM Pro, CMDB, Discovery, integrations, and reporting.
- Drive asset data accuracy, reconciliation, certification, and governance.
SAM & HAM
- Ensure software licensing compliance and drive license optimization, reclamation, and cost savings.
- Manage end-to-end hardware lifecycle from procurement through deployment, refresh, retirement, and disposal.
- Identify and mitigate asset, licensing, and compliance risks.
Governance & Leadership
- Establish ITAM policies, processes, controls, KPIs, and audit-readiness.
- Lead and develop the ITAM team.
- Partner with IT Operations, Procurement, Finance, Security, and other technology teams.
- Provide IT leadership with asset metrics, risks, compliance status, and optimization opportunities.
- Provide ITAM metrics, risks, compliance insights and optimization recommendation to IT Leadership
What We Are Looking For
- 9+ years of IT Asset Management experience across SAM and HAM.
- Strong hands-on ServiceNow ITAM experience – mandatory.
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow SAM Pro and HAM Pro.
- Strong experience with CMDB, Discovery, integrations, reconciliation, and asset lifecycle management.
- Strong knowledge of software licensing, entitlements, compliance, and optimization.
- Experience with asset discovery, inventory, data quality, and reconciliation.
- Experience establishing ITAM governance and audit-readiness processes.
- Strong experience with ITAM reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and executive metrics.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience working in enterprise/global IT environments.
Nice to Have
- CIS-SAM / CIS-HAM certification.
- Workday or other enterprise-system integration experience.
- SaaS Management experience.
- Software vendor audit and licensing negotiation experience.
- ITAM transformation and automation experience.
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 19770.
- IT financial management / technology cost optimization experience.
