What You Can Expect

• Work with next-gen memory and interconnect technologies like CXL and UALink to move, pool, and manage data across the system efficiently
• Model and simulate advanced AI workloads at scale (many-accelerator training and inference across memory and fabrics) to surface non-obvious protocol insights and IP
• Build virtual platforms and device models (QEMU-based full-system emulation and discrete-event fabric models) to validate software and silicon before hardware exists
• Build and run containerized AI workloads on Kubernetes: device plugins, resource scheduling (DRA), operators, scaling, and reliability
• Engage the research frontier: read and digest the latest papers, contribute to open standards (CXL/UALink, Kubernetes, Linux), and help write research papers and deliver industry talks
• AI-assisted engineering: work fluently with AI tools to tackle harder problems

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Fluent with AI coding tools like Claude Code and Cursor, or quick to pick them up, using them to digest specs and unfamiliar source quickly
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems
• Programming in or more of C++, Python, or Go
• Familiarity with Linux, containers, and Kubernetes (or the eagerness to go deep, fast)
• Curious, fast-learning, and takes ownership, turning an ambiguous problem into a working, measured result
• Clear written communicator; (along with code and high quality solutions we create research papers too)
