What will you contribute?

At Finastra, we are transforming the way our people experience technology. As an HRIS Specialist within the People Technology team, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing our global HR technology landscape, centred around Workday and other People systems.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, supporting users, managing system integrations and working across a broad range of HR technology initiatives. You will act as a trusted partner to HR stakeholders and business teams, ensuring our systems operate efficiently and continue to evolve to meet business needs.

As an HRIS Specialist, you will be responsible for providing operational support across our People Technology platforms, with a primary focus on integration support and Workday administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and priorities support requests related to People Technology systems through our Service Portal, ensuring adherence to established service level agreements (SLAs).

• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues across our HR technology ecosystem.

• Partner with HR teams, People Operations and business stakeholders to resolve system and process queries.

• Support Workday administration activities, including:

• Creation and maintenance of supervisory organisations

• Organizational change uploads and mass data maintenance

• Time-off and leave plan updates

• Data corrections and configuration support

• Perform testing and validation activities for system changes, releases and enhancements.

• Support project delivery activities across the People Technology function as required.

• Maintain system documentation, knowledge articles and support procedures.

• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, user experience and operational efficiency.

• Work collaboratively with internal technology teams, vendors and functional stakeholders to ensure data quality and process effectiveness.

Embed AI into project delivery to drive productivity, automate routine activities, strengthen decision quality through trusted data, and deliver continuous process improvement while applying appropriate human judgement.

What we're looking for

Essential

• Experience administering and supporting Workday in a global organisation.

• Experience troubleshooting and resolving HR system or integration issues.

• Experience working with ServiceNow or a similar ticketing/service management platform.

• Understanding of HR business processes and employee lifecycle transactions.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Experience Required is 7+years

• Experience supporting Workday integrations for 3-4 Years

• Learning Management System (LMS) administration experience.

• Experience supporting global HR technology environments.

• Knowledge of HR reporting and data management.

• Exposure to payroll, benefits or talent management processes.
