HR Project Analyst

Group HR – Chennai, India

We are seeking a highly motivated HR Project Coordinator to join our Group Human Resources team, supporting the delivery of a broad range of Group HR projects and processes — spanning areas such as people operations, HR technology and organisational development topics. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable coordinating across multiple workstreams.

Main Tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Build strong working relationships with Human Resources stakeholders, supporting them to deliver project outcomes across the HR portfolio.

  • Gather and organise data to support project and Group HR reporting — including current-state data collection, tracker maintenance, and input into insights and findings.

  • Support the coordination of recurring HR process cycles, such as performance management, succession planning, or people surveys, including scheduling, data collection, and follow-up.

  • Maintain project plans, milestones, and status trackers across multiple projects, flagging delays or risks to the relevant Project Manager.

  • Prepare presentations, reports, and status updates to support communication of findings and progress to stakeholders.

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and templates, and support their implementation.

  • Coordinate logistics for working sessions and stakeholder meetings, including scheduling, materials preparation, and follow-up actions.

  • Support program governance across HR projects by maintaining reporting cadences, tracking decisions and action items, and preparing materials for steering committees.

  • Stay curious about industry trends and best practices, sharing relevant insights with the project team.

  • Support change management activities, including drafting communications and engagement materials and coordinating stakeholder engagement activities.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Overall, a willingness and curiosity to expand your knowledge and take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment. Fluent in English (written and spoken).

  • Spanish language skills are beneficial

  • Analytical skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Synthesise complex information

  • Stakeholder management and communication

  • Project planning and prioritisation

  • Strategic thinking and pragmatism

  • Continuous improvement mindset

  • Commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes

  • Know-how of talent management and organisational development practices

  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting/visualisation tools

Qualifications and experience:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in HR, Business Administration, or related field.

  • At least 2 – 4 years of experience in project analysis, reporting, or project support role; experience in Management Consulting or Human Resources is an advantage.

  • Gathering, organising, and maintaining data from multiple sources to support accurate, timely reporting.

  • Skilled in building and maintaining project trackers, dashboards, and status reports across concurrent workstreams.

  • Preparing clear, well-structured presentations and reports that convey findings, insights, status, and key messages to stakeholders.

  • Supporting multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously, with the ability to manage competing deadlines.

  • Experience handling sensitive or confidential HR data with appropriate discretion and judgement.
