HR Manager

• Job Summary:

The HR Manager leads all human resources functions for the dealership, aligning HR strategy with business objectives to attract, develop, and retain a high-performing team, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive, productive work environment across sales, service, parts, and admin departments.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic HR & Business Partnership:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies supporting dealership growth, profitability, and culture.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on HR matters, workforce planning, and organizational development.

• Talent Acquisition &:

  • Lead recruitment for sales consultants, service technicians, admin, etc., using social media and other channels.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to efficient and integration.

• Employee Relations & Culture:

  • Address employee grievances, resolve conflicts, and manage disciplinary actions.
  • Champion a positive, engaging culture reflective of dealership values, focusing on retention.

• Performance Management & Development:

  • Oversee performance appraisal systems that drive high performance.
  • Identify training needs (sales, technical, soft skills) and manage development programs (L&D).

• Compensation & Benefits:

  • Administer competitive pay plans, benefits (health, retirement), and payroll coordination.
  • Ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.

• Compliance & Policy:

  • Ensure strict compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws .
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate HR policies and procedures.

• HR Operations & Reporting:

  • Manage HR information systems (HRIS) and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Analyze HR metrics (turnover, engagement, recruitment efficiency) for management reporting.

Requirements

• Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
• Proven HR management experience, preferably in retail, automotive, or a similar high-turnover environment.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, compensation, benefits, and HR best practices.
