HHA Recruiter

• Job Description:

Americare is seeking an experienced HHA Recruiter to join our Brooklyn Recruitment team. The Recruiter will be responsible for the full-cycle recruitment and of Home Health Aides (HHAs), with a focus on sourcing qualified candidates, conducting interviews, coordinating pre-employment requirements, and successfully moving candidates through the hiring process.

Interviews and in-person training are primarily conducted at our Brooklyn office. This position also requires travel to other office locations, community recruitment events, job fairs, and other off-site recruiting initiatives as needed. Reliable transportation and/or the ability to travel independently are required.

• Requirements:

• 1+ years of Home Health Aide recruiting experience required.

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.

• Reliable vehicle / willingness to travel to various office locations and recruitment events required.

• Experience sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, and HHAs.

• Working knowledge of HHA employment and compliance documentation; I-9, W-4, CHRC, HCR, pre-employment medical requirements, and HHA hiring best practices.

• Ability to manage a high-volume recruitment pipeline supporting a minimum goal of 40 hires per month.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Highly organized, proactive, and able to independently prioritize competing deadlines.

• Strong follow-through and attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively toward individual and department recruitment goals.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Experience with Workday or a similar Applicant Tracking System (ATS) preferred.

• Ability to work overtime as business needs require.

• Ability to travel between office locations and attend off-site recruitment events on time and as scheduled.
