Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organized professional to oversee the daily operations of a residential property and help ensure a positive experience for residents, team members, and stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values exceptional service, and can balance operational, administrative, and resident-facing responsibilities with professionalism and care.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day property operations to support a safe, well-maintained, and welcoming community.
  • Respond to resident inquiries, concerns, and service needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests, vendor services, inspections, and routine property upkeep.
  • Assist with lease administration, renewals, move-ins, move-outs, and related documentation.
  • Monitor property conditions and identify opportunities for improvement in operations, appearance, and resident satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records related to occupancy, rent collection, maintenance, and compliance documentation.
  • Support budget tracking, invoice processing, and expense monitoring as needed.
  • Help enforce community policies and procedures consistently and professionally.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to achieve property goals.
  • Ensure that all activities are completed in alignment with applicable housing requirements and organizational standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience in property management, residential operations, leasing, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of resident relations, maintenance coordination, and administrative processes.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Proficiency with common office software and property management systems preferred.
  • Problem-solving skills and sound judgment in day-to-day decision-making.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a service-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with affordable housing or housing tax credit compliance.
  • Knowledge of lease-up processes, recertifications, and resident file management.
  • Familiarity with vendor coordination, preventive maintenance planning, and property inspections.
  • Professional certifications or industry training related to property management.
