Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview

We're seeking a Full Stack Engineer with overall 8+ years experience to design, develop, test and ship scalable web and backend systems using modern architecture. You'll own features end-to-end—from architecture through deployment and production optimization. This is a hands-on role where you balance velocity with technical quality, work across the full stack, and collaborate closely with product, design, and infrastructure teams.

• End-to-End Builder: You've shipped complete features - frontend, API, database, deployment. You understand systems from UI to Backend to infrastructure.

• Full-Stack Specialist: 8+ years shipping production features end-to-end. You're comfortable moving across React → Python/Node.js → PostgreSQL/NoSql (Mongodb) → AWS. No layer is foreign to you.

• Pragmatic Tech Decision-Maker: You choose the right tool based on constraints (performance, scalability, time-to-ship). You know trade-offs and can justify architectural choices.

• Production-Focused: You think about reliability, scalability, monitoring, and incident response. Your code goes to production and you own its behavior there.

• Systems Thinker: You understand databases,messaging, caching, API design, async patterns. You can debug performance issues and optimize for scale.

• Quality-Oriented: You care about testing, code review practices, and maintainability—not just shipping fast.

• Collaborator: You partner with product, design, backend, and DevOps teams. You communicate tradeoffs clearly and unblock others.

Technical Stack & Qualifications Category Requirement

Experience

8+ years shipping production full-stack applications. Proven track record of independent feature ownership

Front-end

Deep expertise with React and TypeScript. Comfortable with HTML/CSS, state management, responsive design, performance optimization.

Backend

Strong hands-on experience with both Python (FastAPI, Django, or similar) and Node.js (Express, Nest.js). Can design scalable APIs, write efficient queries, handle async patterns, manage databases.

Infrastructure

Solid AWS experience (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, ECS). Docker and CI/CD pipelines comfortable. Can deploy and operate systems independently.

Databases

PostgreSQL and NoSql specialist. Understand schema design, query optimization, indexing, migrations, scaling. Comfortable with SQL and query analysis.

Mindset

Pragmatic, curious, continuous learner. Ship fast and iterate. You view production metrics as feedback.

Responsibilities

• Build: Design and implement scalable, maintainable web applications—from frontend UI through backend APIs to database schemas. Make architecture decisions balancing short-term ship velocity with long-term sustainability.

• Ship: Own deployment pipelines. Write tests. Ensure features ship with confidence. Monitor production behavior and handle incidents.

• Optimize: Analyze performance data. Profile slow queries and endpoints. Optimize frontend bundle size, API latency, database efficiency.

• Collaborate: Work with product on requirements. Pair with frontend/backend specialists when needed. Help junior engineers learn. Participate in design and code reviews.
