Role Description

We are looking for a

Full Stack Engineer

to help build and scale Anelyz’s research technology products.

This is a full-time remote role for an engineer who enjoys building real products, solving complex problems, and working across both frontend and backend systems.

You will work closely with product designers and engineering teams to develop user-facing features, dashboards, APIs, data-driven workflows, authentication systems, integrations, and other capabilities across our SaaS products.

This is a hands-on engineering role. You will contribute directly to production applications and take ownership of features from development through testing and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.
• Develop responsive, high-quality user interfaces from product and Figma designs.
• Build and integrate REST APIs and backend services.
• Design and work with databases, application data models, and server-side functionality.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and secure application workflows.
• Develop dashboards, data-heavy interfaces, configuration tools, and complex application workflows.
• Integrate external APIs and third-party services where required.
• Identify and resolve performance, reliability, and scalability issues.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable, and well-structured code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards.
• Troubleshoot bugs across frontend, backend, database, and integration layers.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to turn requirements into production-ready features.
• Contribute to testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of applications.
• Take ownership of assigned features from development through production release.

Must Have Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills.
• Hands-on experience with React, Next.js, or a comparable modern frontend framework.
• Experience developing backend services and REST APIs using Node.js or a comparable backend technology.
• Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and component-based frontend development.
• Experience using Git and GitHub in professional development workflows.
• Experience building or contributing to production web applications.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, API integration, and modern web application architecture.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and communicate effectively with product, design, and engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Next.js and Node.js.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar databases.
• Experience with AWS, Firebase, Vercel, or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with automated testing.
• Experience with SaaS products, dashboards, analytics platforms, or data-heavy applications.
• Familiarity with containerization such as Docker.
• Experience integrating AI APIs or working with AI-enabled application features.
• Understanding of application security and performance optimization.
• Experience working in an early-stage or fast-moving product environment.
