Full Stack Engineer -BaaS & Fintech Integrations (Global Remote)

Defi.com is a self-custodial finance platform that bridges the gap between traditional and finance. Launching Q4 2026.

What you‘d work on

• Crypto / offramps integrations -> expanding them into new markets
• BaaS Integration -> Multi-currency fiat accounts, FX, Card issuing
• KYC and AML Integration -> compliance plumbing around money movement — sanctions screening, geo restrictions, audit trails

The day-to-day is integration of provider APIs, webhook handling, idempotency and reconciliation, and the failure modes that come with moving real money through third parties. You will also be responsible for building out the front-end and user experience for these features.

What we need

• Strong backend engineer

• Rust is required: our payment services are Rust (Axum, Tokio, SQLx) on Postgres.

• Front end experience with appropriate web languages and frameworks
• You‘ve integrated payment or banking-as-a-service providers in production, and handled what comes after: webhook replay, partial failures, reconciliation breaks, provider outages.
• KYC/AML exposure: identity verification providers, sanctions screening, working alongside licensed partners.

Nice to have

• Web3 experience — you‘ve built on EVM chains and understand wallets, transactions and settlement.
• Stablecoin experience — you‘ve worked with stablecoin settlement, treasury or ramp flows.
