• Product Vision: We aim to improve accessibility and affordability to quality healthcare
• Broadly we are looking at: Affordable healthcare: The single most important goal of PharmEasy is to provide affordable healthcare for all. To achieve that goal, we have built a vertically integrated system which involves manufacturers, distributors and retailers. This has enabled us to provide 20% savings on prescribed medicines and over 40% savings on home based diagnostic test services through the commissions we generate
• Personalization: Health is very personal to an individual. We want to provide a personal and unique experience to each user specifically based on their health data. Giving users relevant content on how they can manage their disease better to giving them useful information like side effects of the medicines they are having to maybe popular cheaper alternatives to the medicines they are having. Also reminding them about any periodic checkups or diagnosis that they need to undergo
• True Medical ID: Health data today is broken up into various pieces such as prescriptions, diagnostic reports and lifestyle data. People use various technologies that track their daily health data such as wearables. Imagine a platform that in the future lets users know based on their daily run that they need to get themselves checked for a certain ailment and then book that diagnostic test for them as well. A platform that then regularly checks based on their health data whether they are doing better and when they need to get themselves checked again. Pharmeasy wants to be that platform that monitors your health and gives you regular updates about it.

• Role Details: An experienced and motivated front end developer to create the best user experience possible for our teams and users.

Our main tools that we use to build PharmEasy are HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and some pretty cool Angular -- reliable technologies that the PharmEasy team knows well and trusts. Knowing these technologies would be a huge plus but having familiarity with latest and upcoming web technologies like ES6, Web Components etc. It would be great if he or she also has experience in working in React!

Minimum Qualifications:e

• You’ve been implementing pixel perfect designs for a while and can show us what you’ve worked on.

• You possess strong understanding of what works and what not on different browsers.

• You write understandable code with an eye towards maintainability.

• Experience with cross platform development (mobile & desktops)

• You are ready to build robust, fault-tolerant, and highly scalable services to support a broad chat ecosystem.

• This is a chance to make major decisions. We’re looking for people that care about the decisions they make and their impact on the product. We also want people not afraid to express their views on decisions others are making.

• You constantly want to learn new things, whether it’s a technique, process, methodology, algorithm, language, or something else entirely. You know what the kool-aid is, but you drink it selectively.

• A frontend does not exist in a vacuum. We need people that can consider how their decisions will impact the application’s backend performance and the user’s experience.

• We expect to move fast, but we are not interested in throwing something at the wall to see if it sticks. You should be deliberate in your decisions and care about the quality of your execution.

• These are few extra things that lift you a couple of notches in our eyes:

• You're a language junkie. You're up to snuff on best practices and can quote sections of the ES7 standard already. You think about type safety and closures and asynchronous patterns on a regular basis. You hate dangling pointers.

• You're comfortable thinking about how to structure a codebase that is optimized for a cross-platform team and workflow.

• You're a believer in data-driven systems backed by tools to move things forward at a quick pace. Hard-coded code paths make you cringe.

• You know your way around at least backend language like PHP or NodeJS.
