- ROLE OVERVIEW: The Front End Developer will be responsible for developing and designing front end web architecture and ensuring the responsiveness of applications. You should be a team player with a knack for visual design and comfortable with development using agile methodology. Exposure to DevOps, test driven development is desirable
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Architect and Design Client-side projects resulting in robust, scalable and resilient front-end
- Write efficient and performant code using Vue ( Vuex and Vue Router) and React ( Redux, React Router)
- Build Automation test cases using Cypress
- Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
- Support feature deployment through CI/CD pipeline
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
- Write technical documentation
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in Front-end technologies
- Extensive knowledge of Veu.js React.js JavaScript frameworks
- Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux
- Experience developing desktop and mobile applications. Familiarity with common stacks
- Familiarity with working in CI/CD development environment using Jenkins, Jira and BitBucket.
- Familiarity with databases (Postgres SQL), web servers, and UI/UX design
- Working experience of Swagger / Post Master
- Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
- Experience working on automation testing preferably using Cypress
- Experience working in DevOps and Agile environments. Preferably conversant with Jenkins, Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, Great attention to detail
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering
- Familiarity with Capital Markets, Asset Management Domain will be an advantage
