We are looking for an experienced 

Finance Transformation professional

 with strong expertise in 

SAP S/4HANA

 to lead and deliver large-scale finance transformation initiatives across business processes, technology, and operating models.

The role requires a combination of finance domain knowledge, SAP S/4HANA expertise, transformation leadership, and strong stakeholder-management capabilities. You will work with Finance, Technology, Business, and senior leadership teams to modernise finance processes, improve operational efficiency, strengthen controls, and enable data-driven decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience delivering complex finance transformation programmes and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP-enabled solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end

 

finance transformation programmes

 involving SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, optimisation, or business process transformation.

• Define finance transformation strategies, roadmaps, target operating models, and implementation priorities.
• Assess existing finance processes and identify opportunities for

 

standardisation, automation, simplification, and control improvement

.

• Translate business and finance requirements into scalable

 

SAP S/4HANA

 solutions.

• Lead finance process transformation across areas including

 

R2R, P2P, O2C, GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, FP&A, and reporting

.

• Work closely with Finance, IT, Business, Data, and Transformation teams to align technology solutions with business objectives.

• Lead functional design, requirements gathering, solution validation, process mapping, and future-state design.

• Partner with SAP implementation teams and external vendors to manage solution design and delivery.

• Review SAP configurations, integrations, data migration approaches, testing strategies, and technical dependencies.

• Establish governance mechanisms to monitor programme scope, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.

• Lead UAT, cutover, deployment, change management, and post-go-live stabilisation activities.

• Identify opportunities to leverage automation, analytics, and emerging technologies to improve finance operations.

• Ensure finance transformation initiatives deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, controls, reporting, and business visibility.

• Prepare transformation updates, recommendations, and progress reports for senior leadership.

• Drive stakeholder alignment and support organisational adoption of new processes and technologies.

• Mentor transformation teams and contribute to continuous improvement of finance systems and operating processes.

10+ years of experience

 in finance transformation, finance technology, SAP consulting, or large-scale finance process transformation.

• Strong hands-on and functional expertise in

 

SAP S/4HANA

, with experience in finance transformation programmes.

• Strong understanding of

 

SAP S/4HANA Finance

 and core finance processes.

• Proven experience leading complex SAP-enabled transformation initiatives from strategy and design through implementation and stabilisation.
• Strong knowledge of

 

R2R, P2P, O2C, GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, FP&A, and financial reporting

.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration, process harmonisation, configuration, integrations, and data migration.
• Strong understanding of finance operating models, process optimisation, internal controls, and governance.
• Experience managing SAP implementation partners, system integrators, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent programme management, stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical solutions.
• Experience managing transformation risks, dependencies, testing, change management, and organisational adoption.
• Ability to engage effectively with

 

CFOs, Finance Leaders, CIOs, senior business stakeholders, and technology teams

• Strong understanding of automation, analytics, digital finance, and emerging technologies relevant to finance transformation.
• Ability to operate in complex, enterprise-scale environments while maintaining strong focus on business outcomes and delivery excellence.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in

 

Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline

 is preferred; professional finance or SAP certifications would be an advantage.
