We are looking for an experienced
Product Engineer
with strong expertise in
Finacle Scripting
and
Oracle
to support and enhance Retail Assets applications within a Core Banking environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for production support, defect resolution, test automation, and ensuring platform stability while collaborating closely with development and business teams.
This role requires hands-on experience in maintaining mission-critical banking applications, troubleshooting production issues, and driving continuous improvements in software quality and system reliability.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Provide application support for Retail Assets applications within the Core Banking platform.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production defects and application issues.
- Support Retail Assets Automation Testing initiatives and Production Business Platform Improvements (PBI).
- Ensure production stability by monitoring application health and responding to critical incidents.
- Perform incident triage, root cause analysis (RCA), and implement permanent fixes to reduce recurring issues.
- Drive defect management activities and coordinate timely resolution with development teams.
- Own and improve test automation coverage for the Retail Assets module.
- Lead stabilization initiatives across multiple banking entities and environments.
- Coordinate application patches, software upgrades, deployments, and production releases.
- Work closely with Development, QA, Business, and Production Support teams to ensure seamless delivery.
- Participate in release planning, deployment validation, and post-release support.
- Identify opportunities to improve application performance, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain technical documentation, defect reports, RCA documents, and support knowledge base.
