Job Description
The Expert – Contract Management will be responsible for overseeing, administering, and managing contractual matters in railway and infrastructure projects. The role involves ensuring compliance with contract terms, mitigating risks, supporting project teams in contractual decision-making, and maintaining alignment with organizational and client objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, interpret, and administer project contracts in line with applicable laws, standards, and client requirements.
- Provide contractual advice and support to project teams and management.
- Handle claims, disputes, variations, and contractual correspondence with clients and contractors.
- Ensure timely compliance with contractual obligations by all stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation and records of all contractual communications and modifications.
- Coordinate with legal, technical, and financial teams on contract-related issues.
- Support project audits, reviews, and statutory compliance in relation to contracts.
- Monitor contract performance and highlight risks with mitigation measures.
Requirements
Qualification Diploma in Civil Engineering (Mandatory) Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering (Preferred) LLB from a recognized institute (Preferred) Relevant
Experience
(any one of the following): Min. 5 years’
experience
in handling Railway / Highway projects as Contract Manager in either a PMC or Construction Agency. Min. 3 years’
experience
in Railways as SSE/Works (I/C) and above in Open Line/Construction. Min. 4 years’
experience
as Manager or above in Railway PSU in Contracts Division. Key

Experience
in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
