Carrier Wheels Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a proactive and technically skilled

IT Executive

to manage and support the day-to-day IT infrastructure at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in hardware, networking, servers, cybersecurity, CCTV systems, and user support while ensuring high system availability across the organization.

This role requires a person who enjoys solving technical problems, maintaining IT systems, and continuously improving the reliability, security, and efficiency of the factory's IT infrastructure.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure & Asset Management

• Maintain complete records of IT assets including desktops, laptops, printers, servers, networking equipment, CCTV devices, licenses, and peripherals.

• Manage asset allocation, tagging, warranty tracking, preventive maintenance, and lifecycle management.

• Plan and coordinate hardware procurement, upgrades, repairs, and replacements.

Hardware & End User Support

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, barcode printers, and other IT equipment.

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and business applications.

• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure maximum uptime of all IT equipment.

• Provide timely technical support to users across various departments.

Network Administration

• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, and structured cabling.

• Monitor network performance and ensure reliable connectivity across the factory.

• Maintain IP address management and network documentation.

• Coordinate with Internet Service Providers whenever required.

Firewall & Cybersecurity

• Configure and manage Sophos Firewall.

• Monitor firewall logs, VPN connectivity, internet policies, and network security.

• Implement cybersecurity best practices including endpoint protection, antivirus management, and security updates.

• Assist in vulnerability management and incident response.

Windows Server Administration

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments.

• Manage Active Directory, Group Policies (GPO), DNS, DHCP, File Servers, Print Servers, and shared resources.

• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control.

• Perform routine server monitoring and health checks.

SQL Database Administration

• Install and maintain Microsoft SQL Server.

• Perform database backups and recovery.

• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues.

• Support ERP and business applications using SQL.

• Execute basic SQL queries for troubleshooting and reporting.

CCTV & Surveillance Systems

• Configure, monitor, and maintain IP-based CCTV systems and NVR/DVR devices.

• Ensure recording, storage, and remote monitoring systems are functioning properly.

• Coordinate with vendors for installation, upgrades, and repairs.

Backup & Disaster Recovery

• Implement and monitor regular backups for servers and critical business data.

• Verify backup integrity and perform periodic restoration testing.

• Maintain disaster recovery documentation and procedures.

IT Security & Compliance

• Ensure software licensing compliance.

• Maintain antivirus, endpoint security, and Windows patch management.

• Monitor system logs and investigate unusual activities.

• Follow organizational IT policies and industry best practices.

Vendor Management

• Coordinate with hardware, networking, CCTV, software, and internet service providers.

• Follow up on support calls, AMCs, warranty claims, and procurement activities.

• Evaluate vendors and maintain service records.

Documentation

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for:

• Network topology

• Server configurations

• Firewall configurations

• Asset inventory

• Software licenses

• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Backup procedures

• Password vaults (as per company policy)

• IT maintenance records

Continuous Improvement

• Recommend infrastructure improvements to enhance performance, security, and reliability.

• Assist in implementing new IT systems and technologies.

• Support digital transformation and automation initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.

• Relevant technical certifications (Microsoft, Sophos, Cisco, CompTIA, etc.) will be an added advantage.
