QA/Test Engineer (2-4 Years Experience)

• About the role:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented

QA/Test Engineer

with 2-4 years of experience in software testing, preferably within Compliance, AML, KYC, Sanctions Screening, Payment Screening, or Financial Services domains. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance of our products through comprehensive testing activities across the software development lifecycle. Candidates with exposure to AI-driven testing, automation, and validation of AI-enabled solutions will have an added advantage.

What you will be doing

• Analyze business, functional, and regulatory requirements to define test strategies and test scenarios.
• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
• Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, End-to-End, and User Acceptance Testing support.
• Validate compliance workflows, AML monitoring, sanctions screening, KYC processes, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Execute API testing using Postman, SOAP UI, or equivalent tools.
• Perform backend data validation using SQL queries and database testing techniques.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, Compliance SMEs, and stakeholders to ensure high product quality.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support test automation initiatives and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
• Validate and test AI-powered features, machine learning models, intelligent screening solutions, or GenAI-integrated workflows where applicable.

• What you bring:

• 2-4 years of experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance.

• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Management Life Cycle.

• Experience in Functional, Integration, Regression, and System Testing.

• Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.

• Good knowledge of SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.

• Experience in API testing using Postman, SOAP UI, or equivalent tools.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Understanding of test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.

• Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Generative AI concepts.

• Preferably knowledge of Fraud & Compliance applicable to Financial Crime
  Experience or exposure to:

• AI-assisted testing tools and techniques.

• Prompt engineering and validation of GenAI outputs.

• AI-driven test case generation and test automation.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Preferable Knowledge of SWIFT messaging, ISO 20022 payments, or banking compliance systems is preferred.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. AI/ML certifications or relevant training will be considered an advantage.
