Engineer-Electrical

​1.     To
perform electrical calculations for:

a)     Cable
Schedule

b)     Transformer
sizing and calculations

c)     Electrical
panel sizing and calculations

d)     Lighting
lux level calculations

e)     Earthing
and lightning protection system calculation

f)       Cable
tray sizing

g)     Low
voltage system calculations

h)     Building
Management System (BMS) system for heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning
(HVAC) systems.

2.     To
prepare the overall electrical Bill of Quantity (BOQ) and costing for
individual projects.

3.     To
prepare the overall technical specifications of electrical components for
individual projects.

4.     To
prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), wiring diagrams, and block diagrams for
individual projects.

5.     To discuss with vendors regarding technical
details and commercial offers.

Requirements

• Skills and Competencies:

3.     Self-starter, detail-oriented, and able to work

4.     Strong problem-solving and decision-making

6.     Basic understanding of cable schedules,
transformer sizing and calculation, electrical panel sizing and calculations,
lighting lux level calculations, cable tray sizing, low voltage system
calculations, and BMS systems for HVAC.

7.     Ability to interpret electrical specifications,
load data, and client requirements for industrial projects.

• Knowledge:

1.       Proficient
in Microsoft (MS) Word, Excel, and AutoCAD.

2.       Familiarity with electrical system analysis.

3.       Familiarity with CAD and Revit software.

4.       Working experience in both design and site activities would
be an added advantage.

5.       Good knowledge of
International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) codes and standards.

6.       Basic understanding
of industrial electrical systems, including transformers, DG sets, LT panels, and power
distribution systems.

 

• Preferred Knowledge:

1.               A
combination of design and site work experience would be an added advantage.
