• Job Description:

Job Title: Technical Lead/SME – Automation Testing in Automotive Domain

• Experience:  7 - 12 Years

• Domain:  Automotive (EV, Infotainment, ADAS, or Powertrain)

 

Core Responsibilities

• Strategy & Architecture:  Design, develop, and maintain advanced test automation frameworks from scratch using Python, C++, or specialized tools (e.g., ECU-TEST, VectorCAST) for ECU software validation.

• Web and Mobile testing: Hands on experience in  Web testing and Mobile application testing

• HIL/SIL Validation:  Knowledge of   Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) simulation environment setup and maintenance, integrating sensors, actuators, and ECU systems.

• Protocol Expertise:  Automate regression test suites across CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and Flex Ray communication protocols.

• CI/CD Integration:  Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to accelerate software releases.

• Technical Leadership:  Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews for test scripts, and define best practices for automation scripting and documentation.

• Compliance & ASPICE:  Ensure test processes comply with ASPICE guidelines and ISO 26262 functional safety standards.

• Root Cause Analysis:  Perform complex debugging, analyzing test failures, and providing actionable feedback to system designers.

 

Required Technical Skills

• Languages:  Expert-level Python /C/C++/JAVA/CAPL

• Automotive Tools:  Knowledge of CANoe, CANanalyzer, ECU-TEST, VectorCAST, dSPACE/National Instruments HIL systems.

• Frameworks:  Robot Framework, Pytest, Appium, Selenium, TestComplete

• Standards:  ASPICE, ISO 26262, AUTOSAR.

• Version Control/ALM:  JIRA, GitLab, DOORS, Polarion, GitHub

 

 

Desired Experience

• Experience with EV battery management systems (BMS), Infotainment/Telematics, or ADAS features.

• Knowledge of AI-assisted testing tools for predictive defect analysis in automation

• Good to Have Knowledge on  Load and Performance testing.

Education

• B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science Engineering.
