This position will be based out of Bangalore, directly reporting into the leader of Supplier Quality Manager in India, closely working with Product Group Design Engineers, Test engineers and with PCBA suppliers located globally and supplier engineering team in US and Asia region

What you’ll do

• Develop & implement test solutions for simple to medium & high complex PCBA and controllers assemblies.
• Release NPI test procedures by working with product groups and suppliers.
• Collaborate with supplier for test fixture development for the new products and deployment of the test fixture at the supplier’s location.
• Implements test upgrade for sustaining products based on the new design upgrade at supplier site.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Engineering for business value enhancement opportunities

Who we’re looking for

• Years of Experience: Bachelor’s degree with minimum 8 years of relevant experience/master’s with minimum 6 years of relevant experience

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in electrical & Electronics, Electronics and Communication engineering.

• Mandatory Skills required to perform the job:

• Demonstrated knowledge in creating manual/semi-automated/fully automated test solutions for PCBA’s and Controllers assemblies
• Electrical and Electronics Circuit theory knowledge
• Testing & measuring equipment knowledge.
• Proficient in Problem solving tools like, 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA, DOE, pareto analysis, PFMEA etc.
• Strong ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, interpretation of BOM, Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Statistical Process Control (SPC) practiced at supplier end
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
