Electrical Design Engineer

We are now strengthening our global delivery capability and are looking for several

Electrical Design Engineers

to join AFRY in India.

You will work on projects within

buildings and real estate

, supporting our Swedish organization in AFRY Places. This role offers the opportunity to work in an international environment with modern tools and close collaboration across borders.

• Your responsibilities will include:

• Design of

electrical and telecommunication systems

for building projects

• Preparation of

technical drawings, models and documentation

(CAD/BIM)

• Supporting projects from

early design phases to detailed design and delivery

• Performing

technical calculations and system analysis

• Ensuring compliance with

client requirements and applicable standards

• Coordinating with other disciplines such as HVAC, architecture and structural engineering
• Contributing to efficient and high-quality project delivery together with Swedish teams

We are looking for engineers with a solid technical background and experience within building-related electrical design.

Must have

• Around

5+ years of experience

as an Electrical Design Engineer / Electrical Consultant

• Relevant

degree in Electrical Engineering

or similar

• Experience from

building and real estate projects

• Hands-on experience in

CAD/BIM tools

, such as:

• AutoCAD
• Revit
• MagiCAD
• Good knowledge of

electrical systems in buildings

, including:

• Power distribution
• Lighting systems
• Telecom and low-current systems
• Ability to work in an

international project environment

• Strong communication skills in

English (written and spoken)

Meritorious

• Experience working with

Nordic or Swedish clients/projects

• Knowledge of

Nordic standards and practices

• Experience in

multidisciplinary coordination

• Familiarity with

BIM coordination processes

• Experience from

large or complex building projects

• Around 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Design Engineer / Electrical Consultant
• Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
• Experience from building and real estate projects
• Hands-on experience in CAD/BIM tools, such as: AutoCAD Revit MagiCAD
• Good knowledge of electrical systems in buildings, including: Power distribution Lighting systems Telecom and low-current systems
• Ability to work in an international project environment
• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
