Software Engineer working through System requirements to Software requirements to SW model development and functional test cases

1.Working through System requirements to Software requirements to SW model development and functional test cases

2.Responsible for Requirement Analysis, effort estimations and work breakdown

3.Responsible for developing Software logic as per the functional requirements

4.Responsible for reviewing Test Specifications, Code Coverage, Model Quality and Model Validation (MIL, SIL) to ensure that developed model is bug-free and adheres to Model guidelines.

5.Review of existing test cases, propose and implement new test cases required for 100% MCDC coverage

6.Support the team in Matlab scripting and automation

• Basic Qualification:

·Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics/Computer Science

·2-4 years of experience in automotive Model Based development activities including functional testing

• Must have:
• Prior experience in SW model based development

·Prior experience in designing test plan, test cases from requirements

·Functional testing (MIL,SIL)

·Understanding of Statement Coverage, MCDC, Boundary value analysis etc

·Good analytical and communication skills

• Good to have:

·TPT tool experience

·Knowledge of Fixed point modelling

·Matlab, Python Programming

·Experience in developing small controller logics from requirements

·Domain – Automotive BCM (Body Control Module)

• Prior experience in SW model based development

• ·Prior experience in designing test plan, test cases from requirements
