Job Title: Terraform and AWS Cloud Engineer

• Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Terraform and AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles and hands-on experience using Terraform to provision and manage resources in AWS cloud environments. The Terraform and AWS Cloud Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure that is scalable, reliable, and aligned with best practices.

• Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

  • Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure IaC best practices are followed.

• AWS Resource Provisioning:

  • Develop Terraform modules to provision and manage AWS resources, including VPC, Subnets, DynamoDB,  ECS, Code Build, Code pipeline, Code Deployment, EC2 instances, S3 buckets, RDS MySQL databases, AWS Sagemaker, AWS Glue, Athena, Lambda, EKS, SQS and MSK

  • Ensure infrastructure scalability, performance, and security.

• Automation and Scripting:

  • Implement automation scripts using Terraform, AWS CLI, and other scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).

  • Automate routine tasks to enhance operational efficiency.

• Infrastructure Optimization:

  • Continuously review and optimize existing Terraform configurations for cost, performance, and security.

  • Stay current with AWS best practices and implement improvements as needed.

• Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and system administrators, to understand infrastructure requirements.

  • Communicate effectively to ensure alignment between infrastructure and application needs.

• Security and Compliance:

  • Implement security best practices in Terraform configurations.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational and industry security standards.

• Documentation:

  • Create and maintain documentation for Terraform configurations, processes, and procedures.

  • Contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

• Qualifications:

• Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Proven experience as a Terraform Engineer with a focus on AWS.

  • 3 to 9 years of Experience.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Terraform for provisioning and managing AWS resources.

  • Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, etc.).

  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation.

• Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Certifications:

  • Terraform and AWS certifications are a plus.

• Additional Skills:

• Experience with other IaC tools (e.g., AWS CloudFormation).

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Terraform Engineer with a focus on AWS.
• 3 to 9 years of Experience.
