Content & Culture Expert- Punjabi

Role Overview: STAGE is looking for a Content & Culture Expert – to build and scale a compelling Punjabi content ecosystem on the platform. This role blends cultural insight, content strategy, and execution excellence, requiring the individual to drive original content development, lead content acquisition, and ensure high-quality production and localization (including AI dubbing). The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering content that is deeply rooted in Punjabi culture while being scalable and performance-driven for a digital audience.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Strategy & Pipeline Management Design and manage the Punjabi content pipeline aligned with STAGE’s overall content strategy Drive development of original content across formats Ensure an optimal mix of original and acquired content Script Development & Writers’ Room Lead script development by refining and elevating storytelling quality Collaborate with writers and directors to ensure engaging and entertaining narratives Production Oversight Oversee the end-to-end content development lifecycle, from script to final delivery Ensure high standards of creative and technical quality across all projects AI Dubbing & Localization Excellence Ensure high-quality AI dubbing for content including voice quality, synchronization, and cultural adaptation Manage and streamline dubbing-related operations for scale and efficiency Format Ownership (Specialization-Based) Take ownership of a specific content format based on expertise (e.g., Feature Films, Series, Microdrama, Mini Films, Non-Fiction) Lead end-to-end development for the chosen format, including: Content acquisition and licensing Original content development Drive accountability for quality and performance of assigned titles Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with internal teams including Marketing, Legal, and Finance Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners such as production houses, agencies, and talent Content Performance & Analytics Track key metrics such as user acquisition, engagement, and content consumption Analyze performance and generate actionable insights Continuously optimize content strategy based on data-driven learnings

Qualifications

7–10+ years of

experience

in film, OTT, or regional content ecosystems Strong understanding of audience preferences, and storytelling nuances Proven

experience

in content development, production, or content strategy Established network within the regional and national entertainment industry (preferred) Ideal
