Participate in kickoff meetings, risk assessments, and design reviews to flag regulatory concerns and ensure alignment.
Actively contributes to the execution of the Preconstruction Playbook, ensuring compliance standards are embedded throughout.
Collaborate with project leadership and engineering to align preconstruction deliverables.
Collaborate with project managers, project controls and estimators during the preconstruction phase to identify regulatory and compliance requirements.
Contribute to project risk assessments and mitigation strategies from a compliance standpoint.
Conduct routine site inspections and audits; document findings and recommend corrective actions.
Evaluate the severity, impact, and urgency of compliance issues and initiate appropriate response protocols in alignment with internal policies.
Document all escalated issues thoroughly, including timelines, actions taken, responsible parties, and final resolution.
Track trends in escalations to identify recurring issues and provide proactive recommendations to avoid future occurrences.
Ensure escalated issues and outcomes are captured and reviewed as part of post-project evaluations and continuous improvement efforts.
Work closely with the project controls team to ensure compliance requirements are integrated into project schedules, budgets, and reporting tools.
Support development and tracking of compliance-related milestones and deliverables within project timelines.
Assist in analyzing trends and data from inspections or audits to identify systemic issues and improvement opportunities.
Ensure consistency in compliance documentation and reporting across multiple projects.
Ensure that all construction projects comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
Stay updated on changes in legislation affecting construction practices and implement necessary adjustments.
Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure adherence to project specifications and following E2 standards.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction sites to assess compliance with safety and quality protocols.
Collaborate with safety managers to ensure that workplace safety practices are followed.
Work with safety and project teams to investigate incidents and accidents, document findings and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Work with Technical training team to provide training and resources to project teams on compliance-related issues and best practices.
Foster a culture of compliance awareness and accountability among staff and subcontractors.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive compliance documentation, reports, and records for internal and external audits.
Communicate compliance findings and recommendations to senior management and project stakeholders.
Identify potential individual compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Participate in project meetings to provide compliance insights and address any concerns.
High school diploma or GED required.
10+ years of experience in the construction, telecommunications, or data center industry, including at least 7 years in low voltage/telecommunications management with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and expertise across multiple technology areas.
Demonstrated experience with program management, leadership, scheduling, cost control and risk and opportunity management.
In-depth understanding of hyperscale engineering requirements, such as data center design, construction & operations, infrastructure installations and quality and safety protocol.
Proven project management experience on time, on budget, with safety and quality required.
Demonstrated commitment to supporting an environment of world-class client focus, transparency and collaboration.
Experience with security, audio visual, videoconferencing, wireless communications preferred.
This position requires the ability to assess information and interpersonal interactions to negotiate business that meets or exceeds client expectations, while providing a profitable revenue stream for E2 Optics.
This position involves considerable decision-making authority and creative problem-solving skills regarding procedures, plans, and schedules. Although there are sometimes problem-solving guidelines for particular problems, there may be no existing procedures or instructions for those problems.
Strong leadership, human resources management and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to meet sales targets and production goals.
Ability to influence and negotiate. Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, etc.) and MS Project.

The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This role requires sitting, use of hands and arms, verbal communication, and occasional physical movement such as stooping or kneeling. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. Must be able to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs (buggies) if required to do so. The employee may also be required to work in tight and confined spaces.
