We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented

Clinical Research Coordinator, Dental

with a strong background in dentistry and a passion for scientific research. The Research Coordinator will coordinate oral care clinical trials, support clinical data integrity management, support regulatory compliance, handle departmental administration, oversee facility maintenance, and ensure constant audit readiness. This position offers exceptional exposure to global partners, advanced clinical trial methodologies, and cross-functional leadership.

Key Responsibilities

1. Study Execution, Clinical Operations & Subject Management

  • Study Execution: Participate in the end-to-end execution and daily management of internal and external clinical studies.
  • Participant Recruitment & Screening: Identify, screen, and enroll eligible study participants according to protocol criteria.
  • Informed Consent Process: Facilitate the informed consent process under PI supervision, ensuring participants are properly informed and documentation is accurately completed.
  • Safety & Adverse Event Tracking: Monitor study subjects, record adverse events (AEs) or protocol deviations, and report them promptly.
  • Investigational Product Handling: Manage clinical test products, including secure storage, accountability, and proper dispensation.

2. Data Integrity, Quality Assurance & Scientific Reporting

  • Data Integrity & Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standards of accuracy and integrity in data collection, electronic data entry (CRFs/EDC), and data management.
  • Reporting & Dissemination: Assist in compiling clinical trial data, populating Case Report Forms (CRFs/EDC), and organizing study documentation for reports and presentations.

3. Operations, Administration & Facility Maintenance

  • Departmental Administrative Activities: Execute day-to-day administrative and financial operations for the unit, including raising, and tracking Purchase Order requests, verifying study invoices against payment milestones, and assisting with operational budget tracking. Facilitate the drafting, processing, and execution of Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs), service contracts, and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) in close collaboration with internal teams. Serve as the primary liaison for third-party vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of research services and clinical supplies.
  • Facility & Equipment Maintenance: Ensure clinical facilities, testing equipment, and workspaces are properly calibrated, operational, and maintained per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Audit Readiness & Site Compliance: Maintain continuous site inspection and audit readiness in strict adherence to Quality & Safety standards, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and corporate policies.

4. Regulatory Compliance & Collaboration

  • Regulatory & GCP Compliance: Maintain Trial Master Files (TMF) and coordinate submissions/approvals with Institutional Ethics Committees (IEC/IRB).
  • Multidisciplinary Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment across cross-functional R&D and business units.

Qualifications & Competencies

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Dentistry (BDS) from a recognized institution.

Clinical & Professional Experience

Minimum 1 to 2 years of post-degree experience in active clinical dental practice.

Research Background

Demonstrated interest in dental research; prior exposure to clinical trials, basic research, or academic research projects is a strong plus.

Regulatory & Quality

Knowledge of regulatory requirements, ethical guidelines (IEC/IRB), and GCP standards.

Admin & Facility Skills

High organizational ability to handle departmental administration, facility maintenance, and audit readiness.

Teamwork & Communication

Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Operational Flexibility

Flexible working hours to meet trial demands; willing to travel up to 10%.

Computer Skills

Experience working with electronic data management systems and software suites.
