Civil Engineer Site - STATCOM

Oversee and supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring strict adherence to project plans, specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. Monitor work progress, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain the project schedule and budget. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control, compliance with design specifications, and adherence to safety standards. Manage and coordinate activities of contractors, subcontractors, and laborers to ensure seamless operations and project delivery. Lead and supervise the civil engineering team, including supervisors, technicians, and other staff, ensuring optimal performance and timely completion of tasks. Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily progress reports, material usage, and labor attendance to track performance and project status. Ensure the maintenance and proper documentation of the Site Field Quality Plan (SFQP) and test reports, ensuring compliance with quality standards. Prepare joint measurement sheets, material reconciliation reports, and coordinate with clients for certification to ensure accurate tracking of project progress. Proactively resolve technical issues and challenges that arise during construction, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline and quality

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum of 5 years of relevant

experience

in site supervision and construction management. Technical

Skills:

Proficiency in AutoCAD for reviewing and modifying construction designs. Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and project tracking. Understanding of construction methodologies, site management, and quality control standards.

Experience

in vendor coordination and contract management. Familiarity with safety and regulatory compliance in construction. Knowledge of structural analysis and design principles. Proficiency in project scheduling tools such as Primavera or MS Project.

Experience

in geotechnical and foundation engineering. Understanding of material testing and quality assurance procedures. Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) for enhanced project planning and execution. Soft
