Chief Telecom Expert

Responsibilities:

Lead Testing & Commissioning activities for all telecom systems including Radio (TETRA/LTE), PIS, PAS, CCTV, ACIDS, SCADA, Networking, and UTO interfaces. Oversee system integration with signaling, rolling stock, and control centers. Manage FAT, SAT, SIT and interface testing with vendors and contractors. Review system architecture, technical specifications, and as-built documentation for compliance with project standards. Coordinate with OEM vendors, contractors, and client teams for seamless project delivery. Ensure compliance with international safety and quality standards (EN50126/8/9, IEC, IEEE). Provide technical support for tendering, vendor selection, and project documentation. Deliver training and knowledge transfer to client and O&M teams.

Requirements:

Minimum 15 years of project management experience, including at least 10 years in MRTS/LRTS/RRTS design projects in the relevant field. Minimum 3 years of

experience

in UTO (Unattended Train Operation) mode of train operations. At least one metro project involving telecom design/implementation. Minimum 3 years of international project experience.

Skills

& Competencies: Strong knowledge of metro telecom architecture and UTO operations. Expertise in installation, testing, commissioning, and system integration for PAS, PIDS, CCTV, SCADA, Networking, and TETRA Radio Systems. Hands-on

experience

with IPT, PAT, SAT, SIT, and telecom interface management. Proficiency in MS Project, ProjectWise, Primavera or similar project management tools. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

Experience

in tendering processes, scope development, and contract documentation. Familiarity with statutory clearances (e.g., WPC) and payment processes (IPA/IPC).
