Job Description

• Capacity Planning Engineer

  • Expert Mainframe Capacity Planning skills
  • Provide support for performance issues
  • Recommend monitoring improvements
  • Maintain and create SAS code
  • Understand SMF record processing, what can be measured, what decisions can be made, etc
  • Support SCRT submissions
  • Experience of CMF, Mainview and Workload Manager
  • Maintain reports in Excel, Splunk, etc
  • Highlight efficiencies to improve performance and reduce CPU utilisation
