Bioprocess and Bioethanol Research Associate

Design experimental protocols and research plans to investigate bioethanol production processes, including evaluating different feedstocks, enzymes, microorganisms, and process conditions. Conduct laboratory experiments to assess the performance of various components in bioethanol production, utilizing analytical techniques like chromatography, spectrophotometry, and molecular biology assays. Interpret experimental results, identify trends, and propose modifications or optimizations to enhance process efficiency and yield. Maintain detailed records of experimental procedures, data, and results in compliance with laboratory standards and regulations. Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate research findings internally, facilitating knowledge sharing and decision-making. Develop and implement protocols for the upstream processing of bioethanol, including extraction and purification of target compounds from fermentation broth. Operate and maintain extraction equipment such as HPLC, RP-HPLC, and other large-scale bio molecule extraction machineries, performing chromatographic separations and filtration to obtain high-purity products.

Requirements

M.Tech, M.Sc, or Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or Life Science. 2-5 years of

experience

in laboratory research,upstream and downstream processing. Proficiency in upstream and downstream processing of bioethanol and protein extraction. Strong knowledge of batch and fed-batch fermentation techniques. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Effective communication and interpersonal
