We are recruiting for a Assistant Manager in the Germany Audit Corporate team. Working as a Assistant Manager in this team, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing a team of fresh graduates and experienced professionals working on audits for Germany
- Auditing financial statements of international clients and performing an in-charge role
- Act as main point of contact for departments and build strong relationships with key contacts in Germany
- Work with the senior management and key German contacts to develop business and grow the team
- Make regular contact with Germany to ensure staff are booked to audits and utilized effectively and take feedback on quality of
work delivered
- Track key metrics related to type of work performed, quality of deliverables and feedback from Germany
- Develop and deliver training sessions based on the themes identified from feedback and quality reviews
- Work with L&D team to identify training needs
- Work with Recruitment team to support hiring needs
- Act as the Performance Manager and lead the career development of team members
- Coach Seniors on performing reviews and developing their team members
- Motivate and develop Seniors to be effective team leaders
This role is for you if you have the below
Educational qualifications
Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (ICAI)
Work experience
3+ year experience with a Big 4 in a client facing environment working with corporate and/or international clients Skillset
Preferred technical & functional skills
Technical skills:
- In depth knowledge of external/statutory audits and audit methodology as per Standards on Auditing
- Understanding of international GAAP, IFRS and Internal controls over Financial reporting.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Proficiency/Working knowledge of Adobe Professional would be an added advantage
