We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Assistant Branch Manager to support the overall branch operations and drive sales growth in the Hubli region. The ideal candidate should have experience in the building materials industry and possess strong leadership, sales, and channel management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Achieve branch sales targets and profitability objectives.
- Develop and expand the dealer, distributor, and retailer network.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive market penetration.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Ensure effective implementation of sales and marketing strategies.
Team Management
- Support the Branch Manager in managing and motivating the sales team.
- Conduct regular field visits with team members.
- Monitor team performance and provide guidance for target achievement.
- Assist in recruitment,, and training of sales personnel.
Channel Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, architects, contractors, and influencers.
- Resolve channel partner concerns and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Strengthen market presence through effective dealer engagement programs.
Operations & Administration
- Assist in overseeing day-to-day branch operations.
- Monitor inventory movement and coordinate with logistics teams.
- Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
- Maintain branch records, reports, and compliance requirements.
Reporting & MIS
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Analyze sales performance and recommend corrective actions.
- Track key business metrics and market intelligence.
Requirements
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of dealer/distributor sales.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Good understanding of market development and channel expansion.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline.
- MBA in Marketing or Business Management preferred.
