AI-Native Visual Designer

About Alien Design We're a ~20-person design agency working with funded startups and enterprise brands across the US, Europe, and India, think Aditya Birla Capital, HDFC Securities, TVS, alongside high-growth Series A+ startups. We do Webflow websites, product design, and branding, and we've picked up recognition along the way from Awwwards and CSS Design Awards. We're not looking for someone who uses AI to work faster. We're looking for someone whose taste is good enough that AI becomes a force multiplier instead of a crutch. Someone who can look at ten AI-generated directions and know instantly which one is actually good, then push it further than the tool could on its own. The Role You'll own visual design across our client work, websites, product UI, and brand identity, while building an AI-augmented workflow that lets you move faster without ever shipping something generic. You'll work closely with our founder and project leads, translating client briefs into visual systems that feel intentional, not templated. This is a taste-first role. The tools are just tools.

What You'll Do

Lead visual design for client projects, Webflow sites, product interfaces, brand identities, from concept to final delivery Use AI tools (Midjourney, Figma AI, ChatGPT/Claude, and whatever's next) as part of your process for ideation, iteration, and speed, while maintaining a distinct, non-generic point of view Curate and refine AI-assisted output ruthlessly; know when to keep, kill, or hand-craft over it Build and maintain design systems that scale across multiple client engagements Collaborate with our team through a desktop-first workflow with deliberate, considered mobile adaptation passes Push back on ideas (including the client's) when the work isn't good enough Stay ahead of visual and AI-tooling trends without chasing every shiny new plugin
