Hyde builds specialist AI models and agents for high-stakes enterprise workflows. Our training and inference platform extracts proprietary data, deep institutional context, and enterprise dark matter to create models that reason like an enterprise's best operators, improving with every run.

We fundamentally believe the next frontier of AI isn't generalist models, but specialist that redefine what's possible in a given domain. Getting there requires sophisticated post-training, alignment, and reinforcement learning paradigms to make agents reliably perform complex tasks in enterprise environment.

We are a fast-growing, talent-dense team of AI researchers who built frontier open models at DeepMind, early FDEs who shaped Palantir's commercial business, IOI medalists, and organizational strategists from McKinsey and HBS. You will be joining a 30+ person team based across NYC, London, and Mumbai, backed by Bain Capital Ventures and General Catalyst, and already partnering with Global 500s, AI natives, and investment firms to shape the future deployment of AI.

What is an AI Builder?

Being an AI Builder at Hyde is like leading your own Applied AI startup, you’re the CXO, driving vision, strategy, and execution. You'll work in talent-dense teams to build and deploy the training and inference stack that enables enterprises to develop RL-based agents.

AI Builders get the opportunity to work across the three tracks, and the freedom to focus on the area aligning with experience and interest.

• Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE): Embed directly with enterprise CXOs and senior stakeholders to identify high-value problem spaces and translate them into deployable AI systems, feeding into Hyde's core platform, primitives, and tooling.

• Product: Iterate on Hyde’s product toolkits by capturing cutting-edge applied AI patterns that create delivery leverage. Equally capture usage insights from production environments to refine product abstractions and interfaces for deployments.

• Research: Work at the frontier of post-training research, training and fine-tuning models, building agents, designing evaluation frameworks, and creating RL environments for specific enterprise domains. Publish research. Feed key breakthroughs and techniques back into Hyde's core platform, keeping the product at the cutting edge as the field evolves.

• You may be the right fit if you have: - Experience working in applied ML, reinforcement learning, evals, product engineering, and/or top-tier management consulting. Ideally, deep model-level understanding and experience deploying AI in creative ways to solve real-world problems.

• A strong foundation in ML basics (Evaluation, Training, Problem Decomposition). Preferred backgrounds include but are not limited to Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, Machine Learning, Data Science.

• Ability to run technical discovery with senior stakeholders, translate ambiguous business problems into scoped AI systems, and communicate model behavior credibly to non-technical audiences.

• Proficiency in software engineering principles and an understanding of languages such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript / JavaScript.
