Account Manager Director

As Konovo continues transitioning from a service-oriented model to a product-driven platform, we are expanding our Bengaluru-based team. The Account Management Director will lead our 5+ person, India-based Account Management and Bidding & Feasibility Analyst teams. In this role you will ensure we deliver accurate, timely, commercially sound proposals and excellent client partnership across healthcare market research engagements.

This role is for you if you’re a strong people leader who can raise the bar on proposal quality, pricing discipline, and operational execution—while building a team culture that is smart, nice, and gets things done.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead, mentor, and develop the India-based Account Management and Bidding & Feasibility Analyst teams, building a high-performance culture with clear expectations and coaching

• Own and continuously improve the end-to-end bidding and feasibility process to increase speed, accuracy, and win rate while protecting margin

• Ensure proposals are scoped correctly, priced competitively, and aligned with profitability targets and delivery realities

• Partner cross-functionally (Sales, Project Management/Delivery, Operations, Finance) to ensure seamless handoffs and strong execution from bid to launch

• Implement process improvements, templates, and quality controls that reduce rework and improve consistency across proposals and client communications

• Use Salesforce (and related tools) to drive visibility, forecasting accuracy, and disciplined pipeline/bid tracking

• Monitor healthcare market research trends and competitive dynamics to strengthen commercial decision-making and team readiness

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in account management and/or bidding/proposal leadership within healthcare market research (quantitative research experience strongly preferred)

• Demonstrated people leadership experience, including performance management, coaching, and team development

• Proven track record of pricing, feasibility assessment, and proposal ownership in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Strong commercial judgment with the ability to balance win probability, delivery feasibility, and margin

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; high emotional intelligence and a service-oriented mindset

• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data (Excel proficiency required; PowerPoint strong preferred)

• Salesforce experience is an advantage

• Adaptable, hands-on, and comfortable operating in a nimble, evolving environment

• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards is a plus

• Comfortable leveraging AI-enabled tools to streamline workflows, improve response quality, and increase speed without compromising data integrity or customer experience
