Account Manager, Analytical Chemistry (Benelux)

We are currently seeking an Account Manager to drive sales and business growth across the Benelux region, managing our market-leading Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) and Supported Liquid Extraction (SLE) solutions, along with complementary instrumentation and automation.

Your Role

As an Account Manager, you will be at the forefront of our sales efforts, responsible for:

• Developing and managing strong customer relationships within your assigned territory

• Achieving and exceeding sales targets through proactive territory and account management

• Identifying, qualifying and developing new business opportunities

• Understanding customer analytical workflows and identifying opportunities where Biotage sample preparation and chromatography solutions can add value

• Conducting customer presentations, technical discussions and product demonstrations

• Providing technical expertise on sample preparation, SPE/SLE and chromatography workflows

• Attending customer visits, conferences, exhibitions and industry events

• Working collaboratively with internal technical and applications specialists to develop solutions for customer requirements

• Monitoring market trends, customer needs and competitor activity

• Accurately forecasting sales and maintaining customer and opportunity information in Salesforce CRM

This is a field-based role, requiring frequent travel across the Benelux region, typically around 3 days per week in the field and 2 days working from a home office.

Who You Are

• You hold a BSc (or equivalent) in analytical chemistry, chemistry or a related scientific discipline

• You have a background in analytical chemistry, sample preparation and chromatography, ideally including experience with SPE, HPLC/UHPLC or LC-MS

• You have experience in technical sales of analytical products or commercial experience within an analytical laboratory environment

• You are an excellent communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills

• You are customer-focused, results-driven and proactive, with strong territory planning and CRM management skills

• You are a self-starter who works effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Fluent English is essential; Dutch and/or French would be an advantage
