We are looking for a
3D Generalist / Technical 3D Generalist
in our RnD Team who can work across the full 3D production pipeline and is comfortable switching between creative and technical tasks.
You will be working primarily with
Blender and Unity
, creating and integrating 3D assets for a mobile game, as well as producing animation, VFX, and supporting assets for UI, marketing, and prototyping.
This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys being a versatile 3D specialist, likes solving technical problems, and wants to see their work make it all the way into the final product.- Create and texture low- and mid-poly 3D models for an existing mobile game
- Create models based on existing concepts, as well as develop your own concepts based on documentation and references
- Handle the full 3D asset integration pipeline in Unity: preparation, validation, export, import, and final setup
- Configure assets directly in Unity, including prefabs, materials, and animation controllers
- Create animations, primarily directly in Unity, using keyframes and curves
- Create VFX for 3D animations and UI, including sprite-based effects and particle systems
- Use AI tools as part of your everyday workflow — for references and concepts, texture generation and refinement, prototyping, and technical tasks
- Create props and other 3D assets for different purposes, including UI artwork, marketing materials, and prototypes
- Optionally create and maintain simple shaders in Unity
- Optimize 3D models and VFX for mobile performance constraints
- Switch between different types of tasks depending on the needs of the project
- Strong knowledge of Blender and substantial hands-on experience with it
- Good understanding of the Blender → Unity asset pipeline
- Experience setting up 3D assets in Unity, including prefabs, materials, and animation controllers
- Experience creating animations using keyframes and curves
- Experience creating VFX, both sprite-based effects and particle systems
- Understanding of 3D asset optimization for mobile platforms
- Experience using AI tools and automation in your workflow — for finding references and concepts, creating or refining textures, writing scripts, etc
- Basic understanding of Git and experience working with it in a team environment.
- A versatile mindset and willingness to work across different areas of 3D production
- Experience with 2D graphics (Nice to Have)
- Experience with Shader Graph in Unity (Nice to Have)
- Experience with rigging and skinning (Nice to Have)
- Russian language skills
